The thirteenth edition in our 鈥榯hink鈥� series has been authored by the founder and co-chair of the IFoA鈥檚 GenAI Working Party, Daniel Ramsay. Daniel is an Associate Director in WTW鈥檚 Insurance Consulting and Technology division, where he works in research and development. In addition, he is a member of the International Actuarial Association AI Taskforce and represents the IFoA at the Actuarial Association of Europe鈥檚 Data Science and AI Working Group.
In this article, Daniel introduces the agentic model office (AMO), a future鈥憇tate blueprint for integrating AI agents into insurance operations in a safe, transparent, and scalable way.
