Tips and reminders from week one of the September 2025 exam session

15 September 2025

We’re sharing some tips and reminders based on candidate feedback from the first week of the September 2025 exam session.

If you are sitting in an exam centre:

  • Don’t forget you will need your username and password for the exam platform. You can take one sheet of paper, including your username and password, and your registered email address.
  • If you are unsure what the approved forms of ID you can take to exam centres are, you can find a list within the 'In-person invigilated exams: exam rules, Section 2.3' document.
  • Please check the exam centre location for each exam you are sitting in. If this doesn’t match the location where you thought you would be sitting your exam, please contact exams@actuaries.org.uk before your exam.

If you are sitting exams under remote invigilation:

  • You can begin the onboarding process from 20 minutes before your exam start time. The onboarding process should take around five minutes if you don’t experience any issues. Once you’ve completed the onboarding process, you can download your exam paper at your exam start time.
  • When setting up your webcam, please make sure your face and shoulders are visible at all times (outside of when you take breaks).

We would like to wish everyone the best of luck with their remaining exams.
