IFoA Life Conference Organising Committee 2026 – members

Application closing date: 9 November 2025

Do you work in the life practice area, particularly in a life office, and have excellent awareness of the current issues? Would you like to help influence the topics and speakers that are selected for the 2026 conference and to shape this premiere event?

The committee is seeking to appoint members to help deliver an exciting and thought-provoking programme. You will be proactive, innovative and able to commit around 2 to 3 hours per month from early January through to June, with a reduction in workload leading up to the conference in November.

We are also particularly keen to hear from applicants who have international experience, protection health and care experience, AI/technology expertise and/or have previously volunteered for a similar role with the IFoA or in another voluntary capacity.

Benefits of joining the committee include the chance to:

  • Influence the technical content of the conference
  • Broaden your network
  • Increase your awareness of current industry topics and issues
  • Expand your current skills by chairing (or learning to chair) a plenary session at the conference.
