Volunteering is a great way for members and non-members to help develop the wider actuarial community. You will work with the IFoA to deliver our strategy and Royal Charter and help promote our values.

The IFoA is sponsoring two young actuaries to attend this year’s Young Actuaries Initiative (YAI) seminar in Munich, 27 to 28 November 2025. This opportunity is open to recently qualified members, aged 35 or under.

The ÐßÐßÊÓÆµ is seeking a Chair, Deputy Chair and members to join this newly launched short-term Task and Finish Group (TFG), which will run for 6-9 months. Non IFoA members are also welcome.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a strong interest in the CMI’s work on mortality and morbidity analysis and projections, and the value this provides to a wide base of subscribers. The successful candidate will influence and contribute to the work of the CMI at a policy level.
